We Will Be at the Veselka Ukrainian Festival
Veselka Ukrainian Festival will hold this annual event in Teulon, Manitoba, Canada, May 25-26-27, 2007 where hundreds of Ukrainian dancers will compete in different classifications. This town doubles in size for these few days as visitors from western Canada and the northern states flood the area with people for this event.
We have the distinct privilege to be invited on these days to help people of Ukrainian ancestry to record their family trees. Our display of genealogical material is used along with personal assistance to get people started, assist with in-depth research or just browse our display. Teulon is located just north of Winnipeg MB (about 30 miles/50km) and has a lot of neighboring towns that also have Ukrainian local history.
